Greek:
“In this course, we will learn the language of this wonderful place that hosts us, through songs and role-playing games taken from everyday life. The course also includes an introduction to Greek culture and the geography of Greece. Yassou!”
English:
“Our English lessons align with the Israeli education system, but offer flexibility and are adapted for English-speaking environments. The lessons are taught through music, stories, and games. Throughout the course, we will adjust to the children’s levels while aiming to address existing gaps, so all participants will feel challenged, improve, and stay engaged.”
Mathematics:
“Our math lessons at ALEF are tailored to the Israeli education system but without the pressure to achieve grades or pass exams. We will focus on sparking curiosity and challenging the children. (We’ll ask the teachers about the specific curriculum for different age groups.)”
Hebrew Literature and Poetry:
“(Ask Neta what is taught in each age group.)”
Video Editing:
“We will learn how to edit videos using several editing software programs, become familiar with basic tools, and understand the essence of editing as a storytelling tool. We will dive deep into working with visual effects and have an in-depth introduction to Filmora’s working environment. At the end of the course, each participant will create their own YouTube channel and upload their course projects so we can all watch and enjoy.”

ALEF currently operates from Sunday to Thursday, running three classrooms simultaneously. You can join us with a full membership, which allows access to all online lessons, or visit the center and meet your friends. It’s also possible to join specific courses or request the opening of any course you have in mind during other hours of the day. We’re here to offer flexibility and provide you with the right framework. Opening a new course requires a minimum of four participants. We’re always happy for you to reach out with requests for adjustments or new ideas:)

We strongly believe in learning within a group of friends, but we also understand that it’s not the right fit for everyone. That’s why we offer the option to study at our center with the support of teaching assistants, tailored to the individual needs and pace of each child. You can also schedule private online lessons with our teachers or arrange for one-on-one sessions in small groups. Since one of our main motivations for opening is to cater to those whose lives are changing frequently, we’re also flexible enough to adjust and do the same. For customized lessons and individual requests, reach out to us, and we’ll do everything we can to find the right solution.
